Known as one of the most annoying skin conditions in the world, heat rash is not a problem that would choose a certain category of people to affect. Thus, everyone and anyone could and, most likely, will suffer from heat rash at some point in their life. Therefore, the question of how to get rid of heat rash is pretty important to a large portion of the population. First, the affected person must get out of the heat. It seems logical, but some people believe that if they go inside, take a shower and come back out, everything will be fine. It does not work like that. The patient must enter a cooler room, take a shower and stay in that room for at least twelve hours. If the affected person has managed to get heat rash from being at the beach all day long, it is imperative for him or her to stay out of the water for a few days. The salty water of the sea or the ocean will only make things worse for the patient, causing the rash to turn into a crust and the crust to shed very fast, leaving behind some seriously damaged skin tissue. However, if the patient puts on some sun screen and stays out of the water, there is no reason he or she cannot enjoy their holiday, if from the shade for a day or two. |
